Adamswell Scout Campsite

Our new Climbing Tower is now available to be hired by groups per hour, both with or without an instructor.

The tower has 4 lines and operates using Auto Belays.

Instructors can be provided (subject to availability) but good notice is required in order that we can try and find somebody available on the date and time you require.

Sessions are 1 hour long. We can accommodate a maximum of 12 people per session.

This activity is only available to those aged 8+.

Groups are welcome to use their own instructors but a copy of their qualification will need to be sent when your booking is made.

TOMAHAWK THROWING

Our Tomahawk Throwing Range & Equipment is available for use and can be hired by groups per hour, both with or without an instructor.

Instructors can be provided (subject to availability) but good notice is required in order that we can try and find somebody available on the date and time you require.

Sessions are 1 hour long. We can accommodate a maximum of 12 people per hour long session.

This activity is only available to those aged 8+.

Archery

Our Archery Range and Equipment is available for use and can be hired by groups per hour, both with or without an Instructor.

The range is setup in Cherry field as and when required subject to no groups camping in that field.

Instructors can be provided (subject to availability) but good notice is required in order that we can try and find somebody available on the date and time you require.

NERF LASER & NERF GEL

Taking place in our purpose built Nerf Arena, we are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for groups to take part in this activity during their stay at Adamswell.

This activity is run in partnership with Mega Blaster World who deliver the sessions on our behalf.

NERF Laser can be played in the spectacular Woodland Battle Arena set out in over 2000sq metres of forest. There are over 80 tyre barricades and three huge bases to explore. Our NERF Lasers are lightweight and easy to use from age 4 and up. 

NERF GEL can also be played in the spectacular Woodland Battle Arena and is the latest high energy version of NERF fun aimed at Scout age (10.5) and above. With over 30 metres firing range, and up to 20 balls a second, NERF GEL is extremely dynamic. We have over 150 blasters in this armoury, so there is something for everyone.

A NERF Darts arena can also be set-up with huge inflatable bunkers. We can create an arena up to the size of a football pitch within the grounds of Adamswell. With over 100 different types of dart blaster, you really are in a WORLD of NERF.

All sessions are 1.5 hours long.

Capture the Flag, Last Man Standing, and Zombies vs Humans are the three most popular games that we run and, in any of the formats above, it will give you a Blasting Day to Remember.

SUMO SUITS

Royal Tunbridge Wells District Scouts own 2 sets of Sumo Suits (one small set for Beavers / Cubs and one large set for Scouts / Explorers) for use groups at Adamswell, or, through prior arrangement off-site at any location.

Bouncy Castle

Royal Tunbridge Wells District Scouts own a 18ft x 18ft bouncy castle for use by Scout and Guide Groups at Adamswell, or, through prior arrangement off-site at any location.

The castle is suitable for all age groups, and can be transported in a large people carrier or estate car, with the rear seats down.

Assault Course

We have a basic assault course on the site, which is available to be used free of charge by all groups. This activity does not need to be booked - it is available on a first-come, first served basis.

Aqua chimp kent

Aqua Chimp Kent is a unique floating ropes course, packed full of 28 fun and challenging elements and obstacles.
