ABSEILING

Our Abseiling Tower is available for use and can be hired by groups per hour, both with or without an Instructor.

Instructors can be provided (subject to availability) but good notice is required in order that we can try and find somebody available on the date and time you require. Groups are also welcome to use their own instirctors but a copy of their qualification will need to be sent when your booking is made.

Archery

Adamswell now has it's own Archery Range and Equipment which is available to all groups using the site.

The range is setup in Cherry field as and when required.

Caving System

Royal Tunbridge Wells District Scouts own and operate a mobile caving system. The system is based at Adamswell and is available for use by all groups using the site, but is also available to be taken off-site and is available for hire by other youth / charitable organisations.

The rear of the trailer also doubles as a low traverse wall, providing a second activity.

SUMO SUITS

Royal Tunbridge Wells District Scouts own 2 sets of Sumo Suits (one small set for Beavers / Cubs and one large set for Scouts / Explorers) for use groups at Adamswell, or, through prior arrangement off-site at any location.

Bouncy Castle

Royal Tunbridge Wells District Scouts own a 18ft x 18ft bouncy castle for use by Scout and Guide Groups at Adamswell, or, through prior arrangement off-site at any location.

The castle is suitable for all age groups, and can be transported in a large people carrier or estate car, with the rear seats down.

Assault Course

We have a basic assault course on the site, which is available to be used free of charge by all groups. This activity does not need to be booked - it is available on a first-come, first served basis.

Spa Valley Railway

The heritage Steam & Diesel trains of the Spa Valley Railway run along the southern boundary of the site and can be seen passing from some of our campsites. The site is wihin easy walking distance of both High Rocks and Groombridge Stations. The Railway offer good discounts for group bookings providing you book in advance..

Groombridge Place is a great location for a day out and is only a 30 minute walk (all on footpaths) or 5 minute drive from Adamswell. They offer good discounts for groups and have many special events during the year.

Bewl Water is located about 30 minutes drive from Adamswell and has much to offer groups. There are various organisations on-site offering different activities including Sailing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Windsurfing and more.
