Adamswell is set in 15 acres of parkland with a small
river running through it, providing an attractive setting for camping.
The site is set on the edge of Broadwater Forest with easy access to
small villages, such as Groombridge and Langton Green, and approximately
3 miles from the busy town of Tunbridge Wells, with its many shops.
Adamswell is divided into four areas, three of which are suitable for
camping, the fourth (Cherry Field) being set aside for activities.
The site is laid out to accommodate all types of camping from very
small patrol camps right through to large District or County events.
The site lends itself well to Bivouacking, Orienteering, Survival Training,
Nature Study, Tracking and Backwoodsmanship.
